James Dean's roadside memorial
We went to a roadside memorial built to commemorate the 24 year old actor James Dean. He was killed in a fatal collision in 1955 in Cholame, California, just off the I-46. Dean was driving a Porsche when a car driven by a Cal Poly student, Donald Turnupseed he made an illegal turn in front of him. 23 year old
